Energy Efficiency Grants for Small and Medium-sized businesses

Due to the soaring cost of energy, the government has laid out a new plan to assist small and medium-sized businesses on how to efficiently improve their use of energy.

These grants will support studies and planning measures, facility and equipment upgrades that will boost energy efficiency, lessening emissions, and improve power demand management.

Benefits of these Grants to small and medium-sized businesses:

Enables small and medium-sized businesses to invest in cost-saving upgrades that will lower down power bills and save electricity.

The expected result of these grants are:

Lesser energy costs by taking on energy efficiency equipment and practices.
Increase awareness of opportunities
Reduced greenhouse gas emissions.

Those small and medium businesses that want to invest in energy-efficient upgrades will be eligible for Commonwealth grants.

The grants are planned to begin in the 2022-2023 financial year, but no further details on the details of application and eligibility requirements.
